We are so excited to have the opportunity to host Chad Furlong and iThink School Assemblies again this year as we challenge high school and middle school students to THINK BIGGER for their lives in Petersburg, Moorefield, and East Hardy.

To kick this exciting week off, Chad Furlong will be our guest speaker during out 9 & 11:15 a.m. services on Sunday, April 12th.   Grab a friend and make plans to join us on Sunday morning to hear more about this dynamic program that is impacting students’ lives all across America.

Sunday morning, April 5th, the entire Believers Victory Center family will meet in one location for our Easter Celebration Service 2015.  It’s going to be a great day at the Moorefield Middle School Gymnasium as hundreds of people gather together to celebrate the day that God kicked the end out of the tomb and raised Jesus back to life.   The BVC Praise Team will be leading us in a special time of worship, the Children’s Department has some great activities ready for the little ones, and I will be proclaiming that great gospel truth that HE IS RISEN, JUST AS HE SAID.

Load up the entire family, stop and grab a couple of friends on the way and join me at 10:00 a.m. at the Moorefield Middle School as together we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

– Chris Whetzel, Lead Pastor
Believers Victory Center

BVC Camp Meeting 2014 is quickly approaching so mark you calendars now to save July 14 th-16th at 7 p.m. If you’ve been to a previous BVC Camp Meeting, you know what an awesome experience it is. If you haven’t been to one of our Camp Meeting services then please join us this year for 3 nights of epic services.

As always, the BVC Praise Team will kick off each night by leading us in powerful worship and then we will be encouraged and inspired by Pastor Chuck Balsamo and Pastor Chris Whetzel as they preach God’s Word.

To make this an event the entire family can enjoy, our Children’s Department is pleased to offer a three night Kid’s Crusade that will begin and end in unison with the outdoor Camp Meeting services. The Kid’s Crusade will take place in the church building and will offer an array of high energy activities, age appropriate Bible lessons, and plenty of fun for children 5th grade and under.

Camp Meeting 2014 promises to be a great time for every member of your family so mark your calendars and make plans to be with us July 14 – 16 at 7 p.m. nightly.

Donate NowEvery year, hundreds of thousands of students in the U.S. and around the world unite to do The Famine. The BVC Ignite Youth group will once again be joining in the ranks of young people that are willing to make a difference, and in the process grow closer to God. What is “The Famine”? The Famine is an event where our youth will fast for 30 hours, they’ll spend this time in fellowship and fun with their piers. Leading up to the 30 Hour Famine, they will be asking for sponsors. Just $35 can help care and feed a child for a month. Want to help them make a difference? Click here to make a donation. Donations can also be made directly to BVC – Just note 30 Hour Famine in the memo line.

On Easter Sunday, the Believers Victory Center family will be moving to the Moorefield Middle School gymnasium so we can join our two Sunday morning services and worship together. If you don’t have a home church, make plans to join us for this amazing event.

I’m excited to have the space to get the entire BVC family together for one service, and even more excited for what God wants to do in all of our hearts as we celebrate the day that Jesus kicked the end out of the tomb and defeated death. It’s going to be an amazing day. Start time is 10:00 am. Don’t miss it.

Help us spread the word by sharing with your friends.

Twelve in 10!

The countdown is on! In ten short days, iThink Assemblies, Twelve, will spend a week hosting school assemblies at PHS, MHS, MMS, EHHS and EHEMS. On April 11th at 7 p.m., the team will wrap up with an “After Party” at MMS. The “After Party” is for all the students that attended that assemblies during the week.

Football and marriage are a lot alike. Both rely on communication, chemistry, team work and a little finesse. When all goes well, it’s art! But when it breaks down, it’s not so pretty. You probably know the basics of football; do you know the basics of marriage?
