A Letter from Pastor Chris
It seems like only yesterday we were gearing up for the first phase of our capital campaign to raise funds for our new facility. There was no building, no electric or water service to the property. There was only a building site and a group of people that believed it was time to take a step of faith and move forward with the next step in this amazing journey God has allowed us to travel. Words fall miserably short when it comes to expressing my gratitude to everyone who has committed to investing your hard earned money into these last two capital campaigns. We have not only met our goals in the previous campaigns, but we have exceeded them. Thank you so much for your giving and thank God for His faithfulness in providing for each of us. We now enter our final phase of the Moving Forward Capital Campaign and I believe that this can be the best one yet! The final phase of this campaign will be aimed primarily at reducing the debt on the facility and I can’t stress enough the importance of this phase. As we reduce the debt we free up more funds to increase our ministry and outreach efforts in our community. I am confident that with your continued faithfulness and God’s favor over us, we will FINISH STRONG and reach our final phase goal of $350,000.00. Take a moment and read through the information on the following pages and begin to pray about what God would have you to do. It’s amazing what can be accomplished when we work together. It’s truly an honor to serve alongside of you on this journey of faith.
BVC Pre-funding Phase
Following the purchase of the plot of land which now houses the new Believers Victory Center, the pre-funding phase raised $295,000 to facilitate the excavation and site preparation.
Moving Forward | Phase I
Beginning on March 1, 2015, Believers Victory Center initiated the “Moving Forward Capital Campaign” Phase I and successfully raised over $250,000. These funds went towards the purchase of materials and installation of 4,500 feet of 8” waterline to the new property, 3-phase electrical service from the highway to the new complex, and a wastewater system.
Moving Forward | Phase II
Beginning on March 26, 2016, Phase II of the Moving Forward Capital Campaign initiated and successfully raised over $250,000. These fundraiser proceeds were applied to the completion of the 3-phase electric service and wastewater projects left over from Phase 2, sanctuary sound & lighting, grading and gravel for the parking lot, and the purchase of sanctuary seating.
Finish Strong | Phase III
Finish Strong is our third and final fundraising effort for our new building. Starting in the Fall of 2017, this round of fundraising has a goal of $350,000. The proceeds of these funds will be utilized to finish the buildout of the kitchen to further facilitate event self-sufficiency and enhanced community support, as well as to continue to reduce the buildings construction debt.
