How about those Mountaineers?!
In just a few short days one team will emerge as the National Champion. It’s pretty obvious who I would like it to be, but that is yet to be decided. One thing is for sure though, whoever ends up as the champs will have outplayed, outmaneuvered, and outscored the opposing team. I know, that should go without saying, but hang on, believe it or not, I’m going somewhere with this little sports deal. This Sunday we celebrate Easter and when I think about Easter it reminds me that Satan’s best was no match for our God. Satan’s best plan, his best strategy, his best efforts could not defeat the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords! In fact, long before Adam & Eve messed up in the garden, God already had a plan of redemption in place for fallen man. Revelation 13:8 describes Jesus as the “Lamb slain before the foundation of the world”. In other words, before the devil ever created the problem, God already had the answer. Now that is some kind of God!
