When I was a kid my mom would take me to a summer Camp Meeting.  It was my favorite church event of the year.  I can still remember the smell of the old canvas tent, the sound of the music, and the great outdoor atmosphere as we would sing, praise, and hear the preaching of God’s Word.

It is my pleasure to announce  Believers Victory Center will be hosting Camp Meeting 2013 on June 24 – 26.   The event will take place in the field behind the BVC building.   We wanted this to be an event the entire family could enjoy so along with the Camp Meeting our Children’s Department is pleased to offer a three night Kid’s Crusade that will begin and end in unison with the outdoor Camp Meeting.  The Kid’s Crusade will take place in the church building and will offer an array of high energy activities, age appropriate Bible lessons, and plenty of fun for children 5th grade and under.

Believers Victory Center will host a National Day of Prayer Service Thursday, May 2 at 7:00 p.m.     Make plans to join us for a great night of praise & prayer.

I am excited to announce the return of Chad Furlong and iThink Assemblies!  School assemblies will be held in the following schools March 19 – 21:  Hampshire High School, Romney Middle School, East Hardy Early Middle School, East Hardy High School, Moorefield Middle School & Moorefield High School.

On Friday night, March 22, there will be an “After Party” with Chad and his crew at the Moorefield Middle School for all the students that attended the school assemblies during the week.  This event starts at 7:00 p.m.

It’s going to be a great week for our area students!

The first night of our New Year’s Prayer event was absolutely incredible!  The atmosphere was alive with expectation as we prayed and spent time in the presence of the Lord.   We will meet again tonight and tomorrow night at 7 p.m.  This prayer event is a great opportunity to get 2013 started right and is open to anyone that would like to come.  Forward this to a friend or family member and I will meet you in the sanctuary of the Believers Victory Center as we believe for great things together.
