I am excited as the time nears for our annual BVC Family Fun Day.  This year we will be kicking off the celebration in both of our morning services with Pastor Chuck Balsamo, author of the newly released book, MAKE ME A LEGEND.

I consider Pastor Chuck to be one of my closest friends.  He is a great husband, father, leader and is sure to excite the God given destiny in the hearts of all who hear him.

The second part of the day will be held at Brighton Park and promises to be a wonderful time for the entire family. Our picnic will begin at 4:00 p.m. and will feature Greg & Karen Riggleman’s special recipe, pit barbecue chicken as well as a bunch of other homemade goodies.

After dinner it’s time to play!   Five Star Attractions will be on site with a carousel, a super slide, and those awesome swings that all the kids go crazy for.  And to be sure we don’t run out of energy, the Moorefield Volunteer Fire Company will be giving out snow cones and cotton candy, and it’s all free of charge.

Now we could stop here and it would be a great day, but you know how we roll, we have to finish off with a bang, and I do mean a bang.  At 8:30 p.m. the Starfire Corporation will unleash an awesome fireworks display to cap off our day of food, fellowship, & fun.

Mark your calendars, invite some friends and I will see ya there.

Tomorrow night we kick off Victory in the Valley 2011 with Evangelist Gerald Mayhan.  I promise you, this is one of my favorite times of the year as we come together for three nights to get our praise on, hear the Word, and witness people coming to Christ.  How any Christian could not be excited about that is beyond me.

Evangelist Gerald is a living testimony of the power of God at work.  Check out his exciting testimony HERE.

I hope to see you every night March 20 – 22 at 7 p.m.

If you attend Believers Victory Center you know that last Summer we shot a promotional video with Jeff Duncan and Medius Video Productions.  Jeff and his father Joe were so great to work with and they have delivered to us a wonderful video.

For anyone looking for a great video production team to effectively tell the story of your church, business, or organization,  Jeff Duncan (Medius Video Productions) is the way to go.

So, without further ado, here is the Believers Victory Center’s brand new promotional video.  Hope you enjoy.

Hello everyone.  Our very own Molly Shriver embarked on a mission trip this summer to Guatemala.  We are proud of her accomplishments and her willingness to travel abroad bringing humanitarian relief and most importantly, the light of Christ to hurting people.

Recently she put together this video of her experience.  Take a moment and check it out.

Evangelist Gerald Mayhan is coming to town for our New Year’s Service.  I can’t think of a better way to bring in the year 2011!  You don’t want to miss this late, great service as we bring in the New Year with awesome praise led by the BVC Praise Team and a great word by Evangelist Gerald. Our Children’s Department has some wonderful activities planned for our little ones.  Feel free to let you child wear their pj’s!

Again, service time is 10 p.m.  Make plans to celebrate the New Year at Believers Victory Center and get 2011 started the right way.

Happy Monday!

Hey everyone, I thought I would post a quick Happy Monday blog.   I try to take Mondays off, so I guess it’s a little easier for me to be happy about Mondays huh?

Yesterday at Believers Victory Center was amazing.   After church, emails and facebook comments began to pour in commenting on the message and I appreciate that more than you know.  After each service there is always that period of second guessing myself and wondering if I said the right things, so all the encouragement really helps.  I am so grateful for all the awesome staff that helps make our Sunday Celebration services powerful and effective.   I can’t imagine ministry without great people like this working together.

Have a great Monday everyone.  I am praying God’s best for you.  Remember your heritage as a child of God, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue that rises against you in judgement, you shall condemn.  For this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their righteousness is from me.” Isaiah 54:17

DO SOMETHING WITH IT!

Chris

In the event of rain on Sunday morning we will hold ONE service at 10:00 a.m. at the Believers Victory Center.  Members of the BVC Ushering/Greeting Staff will be stationed on the route to the new property to direct traffic accordingly.

Rain or shine, inside or out, we will still gather together at 10:00 a.m. and have a great time giving God praise for all He has done for us.  Then at 5:00 p.m. we will kick off the second half of our Family Fun Day at Brighton Park with an awesome time of food, fun, and fellowship.  Click here for more details.

Please check www.believersvictorycenter for up to date information the morning of the 12th.
